In order to maintain high health standards, the Group controls health and quality at all levels of production:
- Receipt;
- Production;
- Packaging;
- Shipment.
At each one of these stages, instructions and/or documents define the criteria and methods for control as well as the criteria for compliance and non-compliance. Bacteriological, chemical and sensory analyses round off these tests, and are carried out in the Group’s laboratory or by the central quality department, covering both raw materials and finished products.
The Doux Group's application of management principles such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and close cooperation between the Group's veterinary teams and the breeders and health services in the countries where it is based are key to earning and keeping consumers' trust. The deployment of traceability tools at every production stage also contributes to this.
