The Doux Group and its brand Père Dodu received on December 20th of the hands of the representative of the Minister for Agriculture, Bruno Lemaire, the Excellency Award at the General Agricultural Competition 2012. The Doux Group is so the only poultry company to be rewarded in 2012 among around thirty prize-winners of the other sectors.

This award rewards the regularity of the Group and its brand Père Dodu in the quality of its products, by certifying in particular the respect for good conditions of breeding and production as well as the gustative qualities of products.

Le Choix du Chef benefits from a unique technological innovation in the poultry sector, in terms of packaging: the patented BDF protective packaging who allows to lengthen the expiration date of the products to 12 days. This more resistant packaging is a guarantee of freshness for the consumer and allows the retail customers to propose the Le Choix du Chef chicken in shelf during 2 consecutive week-end and avoid breakage.

The attribution of this award rewards more widely the daily work of the teams, at every level of the production process, and the choice of a 100 % integrated process, from the egg to the plate, which guarantees an optimum quality and traceability of the products.

The award for is given to the company having obtained the best ratio medals/number of products registered over the last 3 years at the General Agricultural Competition of Paris. Père Dodu, with his range " Le Choix du chef " (whole chicken and cut), was rewarded by 5 medals (among which 4 Golden medals) since 2007.
